Suspended Façade Access Equipment
New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) AS101 Inspections
RAHEPC Performs Advisory Standards 101 compliance inspections which are mandated by NYSDOL for every building façade access installation registered with the state of New York. This is required after seven years from the initial installation approved by the state and every five years thereafter for new installations. For existing installations, the initial inspection is based on original installation date and due every five years thereafter. This inspection and its conclusions are overseen and must be submitted to the Engineering Service Unit of the NYSDOL. Our firm is approved by NYSDOL to perform these AS101 inspections.
Third Party Inspections
We also provide pre-inspection services prior to the annual inspection performed by the local NYSDOL on-site inspectors and annual inspections to satisfy building owners or insurance requirements.
Load Testing
We can/have provided load testing of pedestal/davit assemblies, including load testing of anchors, as may be required by NYSDOL or your maintenance contractor to satisfy findings resulting from a structural inspection. We have designed and implemented testing procedures approved by the NYSDOL to support these activities.
New Equipment Installation Package Submittal for NYSDOL Approval
We have achieved successful approvals because of our expertise and experience with all types of suspended façade access equipment and our understanding of the NYSDOL Advisory Standards 101 which governs the construction, operation and maintenance of suspended scaffolding equipment installed in NYS.
We can support the equipment manufacture, building owner or his designee with all aspects of presenting a successful completely documented submittal package to the NYSDOL for the following types of installations:

Equipment Remediation
RAHEPC provides the interface between façade equipment manufacturers, subcontractors, building project operations, building owner, and NYSDOL as required to facilitate re-approval of existing equipment that requires remediation resulting from inspections or equipment failures.
